It was with this goal in mind that the brothers Francesco and Eugenio Cassani presented the first Trattrice Cassani in 1927, one of the world's first tractors powered by a diesel engine, embarking on a journey which would lead to the foundation of SAME in 1942. A technology long known on high-powered open field tractors, but which SAME has been able to integrate on both vineyard and orchard tractors as well as utility tractors, offering the market compact tractors with extremely high technological content for the most demanding farmers and fruit growers.
