SAME receives the Tractor of the Year 2019 award in Best of Specialised category; completing the range of its CVT specialised tractors and presents the Frutteto ActiveSteer with four steering wheels.
SAME Frutteto CVT S has received the Best of Specialised award in the Tractor of the Year 2019 competition at EIMA 2018. During the international fair, SAME, after having launched the Frutteto CVT S in May 2018, has presented the full range of CVT specialised tractors with two additional models: the “Frutteto CVT”, for applications ranging from orchard to grounds care applications and the “Frutteto CVT V”, with technical solutions specifically developed for vineyards. Finally SAME has presented the new Frutteto CVT Active Steer, the first specialised tractor with 4 wheel steering technology for vineyards and orchards.
The Tractor of the Year award is assigned each year by a jury composed of 25 journalists from the major European magazines of the agri machinery sector, who have voted the SAME Frutteto 115 S CVT the best tractor in the specialised segment. This important award represents an additional recognition of SAME’s leadership in this segment, thanks to previous recognitions like Machine of the Year 2017 and Tractor of the Year 2016 assigned to the Frutteto Active Drive in the specialised category once again.
The Frutteto CVT range represents the latest technological revolution in the management of vineyards and orchards: everything has been expressly redesigned and fine-tuned in these new series for maximum efficiency, performance and operator comfort.
The new Frutteto CVT ActiveSteer allows the operator to work in narrow spaces guaranteeing manoeuvrability, tighter steering angles and turning ratios - values that are considerably different and more specialised than competitive machines, whilst maintaining track and wheel base dimensions to that of a conventional tractor in this category.
The already generous standard equipment of Frutteto CVT tractors may be complemented with the ActiveDrive hydropneumatic actively controlled independent front suspension system.
